The role of technology in my profession and life

Hello people:) Today, in this post, I’m going to talk about the role of technology in my profession and life. 

The true it's that technology has took a fundamental role, not just for me, also for all the human history.

Then it’s when we wonder what can we consider for technology. One of the definitions from Cambridge dictionary says technology is the machinery and equipment that has been developed using scientific knowledge or processes. According to that definition, all things created by the human being could be consider like technology, because all of them came from their own knowledge.

So, technology are not just smartphones, escalators or new coffee machines. Also are the fire make by humans, are the first irrigation systems invented by indigenous people or even the sweaters knitted by our grandmothers. 

That’s why I consider technology it’s fundamental, because it’s what make us progress like society. Improving the people’s health, people’s home and people’s lifestyle. But, at the same time, it’s what make us destroy the planet, with huge and contaminating industries, to get more and more technology, richness and progress. The human being are so ambitious and selfish that we forgot to take care and respect what give us life: the planet.

In the other side, I will talk about why technology it’s important for my profession. I think the most important reason are related to the tools we use. Like visual artist, we have to use a lot of different tools, like pens, brushes, gouges, and an infinity of other stuffs. Otherwise, with the technology development, the visual art started to use new resources. Like videos, projections, sounds or photos. That progress allows to the artist to experiment by other ways to understand the art, creating new artistic experiences.

So, as a conclusion, I can say technology it’s what make us growth and become better as society, but also, if we don’t use it in a responsible way, it could destroy us.
